There are instances when the monitoring and graphics module is not displaying graphs at all or with incomplete data. Restarting the optimizer can temporarily address the issue, but it is not a long-term solution.
This error may occur when the daemon is not connected to the mysqld process.
Try first restarting statistcsd. Then proceed to restart the Database, Monitoring services, and other steps, if needed.
Restart statisticsd using the following instructions:
- In Exinda WebUI, navigate to Configuration > System > Setup > Scheduled Jobs tab.
- Fill out the necessary details and as a command specify
service statistics restart:
- Click Add Job. Modify the Time of execution if needed.
Restart the database using the following commands:
en conf t service database restart
The database will change from 'starting' to 'running,' and graphs should start appearing. If the database is showing 'running' and graphs are still not displayed after 10 minutes, proceed to restart the monitor using the below commands:
en conf t service monitor restart
Reboot the device after these steps
As a last resort, clear the data monitor and database and restart JBoss.
en _shell cd /var/data/monitor/ rm -rf *
cli clear database service jboss restart
Confirm the graphs are able to successfully load.
