Overview
When it's needed to prioritize video traffic like Google Meet to ensure it has a policy in place, a certain configuration should be created. Sometimes the necessary traffic isn't automatically tied to a predefined application.
This article provides details on how to configure Exinda's Network Objects, custom Applications, and Optimizer policies for Google Meet services.
Solution
- Create Network Object for Google's IP range:
- Create custom Application objects for Gstatic, Google User content, and Google Video using URIs provided by Google:
L7 signatures: http, advanced, host =~ "*.gstatic.com/*"
For more information about wildcard usage, please refer to the advanced L7 syntax.
Note: repeat the same procedure for other Google's URIs. - Add Optimizer policy for newly created Google IPs and respective Google apps, including Google Shared Services.
