Overview
While managing the Exinda appliance through the Web UI, the connectivity is being lost with the following error:
Connectivity to the system has been lost. Reconnection will be attempted every 15 seconds.
Once the access is restored, the Connectivity has been re-established
is shown.
This article provides details on a possible root cause and resolution for such Connectivity problems.
Solution
This issue might happen when the Internet link is unstable or when you're changing network connections used for Web UI access (WiFi to Ethernet cable and vice-versa). This could also be an issue with outdated Exinda software.
Note: the CLI access might be still working normally as the error is being generated by Javascript backend files and AJAX requests.
For the Unstable Internet link, contact your ISP or router/firewall provider to verify the packets are not being dropped due to custom restrictions or policies.
For outdated Exinda, please make sure to upgrade to the latest version available. If no new release is being detected, contact Exinda support to further troubleshoot your issue.
