Summary
The APS is not showing any stats after the baseline has completed.Overview
This article addresses an issue where an Application Performance Score(APS)has been created and after the baseline is complete there is no metric showing. For the APS to get any metrics, it needs to see the traffic for the application in the APS. If no traffic for the particular application is seen, then the APS will not show any metrics.
If you have SMTP setup, at the end of the baseline the Exinda will email to let you know that it did not receive any traffic for the APS. To check this, edit the APS and check the Baseline Info, it will show the following information which will tell you how long the baseline was running, the status and the traffic seen
Status: Running
Average Packet Size (bytes): 0
Traffic Seen (KB): 0
Start Date: Wed Apr 06 01:00:00 UTC 2016
End Date: Wed Apr 06 02:00:00 UTC 2016
You might need to increase the baseline period in order to capture the traffic if this application was not in use at this time. One thing to note is that the APS will for work for TCP traffic, so an application based solely on UDP will not show any metrics.
