Overview

When it is determined that the functionality of Exinda is lacking some features, new Feature requests can be submitted to the GFI Feedback Community Portal at GFI forums > Exinda Network Orchestrator. You can read more about the GFI Feedback Community here.

This article provides details for how to submit Feature Request for Exinda.

Information

Submit a Feature Request in GFI forums > Exinda Network Orchestrator. Ensure the request has all the important information in it:

• • The person who is requesting it
  • The company they work for, or an end-user that they represent
  • What the request is
  • A justification for the request (if possible). Absence of justification makes it more difficult for the PM to consider putting the request into future firmware.

Agents only : Create an Exinda Knowledge Article that is Internal only (agents and admins). Put [Feature Request] in the title of the article, and describe the request in the 'Overview' section. In the 'Information' section, specify the current version of Exinda and if there are any known workarounds or future plans to implement such functionality (should be checked directly with PM, for more info refer to Exinda Sev-1 Handling).

Note: the GFI forum is a public community, customers should submit Features themselves. Please avoid including customer-specific details if you're submitting on the customer's behalf.
