Overview
When looking at the Monitor > Control in the information table, the 'Max Rate' is mentioned. This number may appear to be higher than anything appearing on the graph above this table. This is because the graph is shown in 5 minute intervals. Meaning, if the max rate only occurred for a single second out of 5 minutes, it will be averaged in with the rest of the data for graphing purposes.For example:
The 'Max Rate' is listed at 50Mbps. However, looking at the graph, that specific Virtual Circuit does not go above 15Mbps. This is expected, because the 50Mbps may have lasted a very short amount of time and was averaged in with the rest of the traffic from that 5 minute interval.
