Exinda offers a way to create a demo appliance for use by clients who want to look at what the instruments have to offer. This article provides the link to the Exinda's Demo Site and instructions on how to create your test demo appliance.
Accessing the Exinda Demo system is the way for clients to look at the Exinda UI and play around with some features on it as an admin user before purchasing their device or license. It allows for future admins to figure out how the tool works and how to configure it without needing to implement downtime in their network by figuring it out on the fly.
To create a demo Exinda, provide the following information on the page:
- The version of firmware you want to run.
- The time you would like to use it for 30 minutes, 60 minutes, or 90 minutes.
Once that is done, a demo appliance will be created for you for that time frame; the IP address will be generated and given, and the appliance will be accessible by both Web UI and CLI (SSH). Once the time frame is over, the appliance will be spun down and shut off and any configuration lost.
NOTE: This service is currently in beta. If there are any problems, contact Exinda TAC.
