Overview
After setting up the AD connector to show the usernames of the users which are using hosts on the network, there may be missing configuration which causes usernames to not map with their IP address. If the usernames are showing up without IP addresses populated in Configuration > Objects > Users & Groups, follow the rest of this article. If the usernames are not showing up in that section, then a different problem is being experienced. On the Domain Controller, please navigate to Group Policy Management Editor > Computer Configuration > Policies > Windows Settings > Local Policies > Audit Policy.
Edit the properties of 'Audit logon events' and ensure that the Success option is checked. Be aware that there is similarly named 'Audit account logon events' which should also also have the Success option checked.
Now on the Exinda web UI, navigate to Configuration > System > Network > Active Directory and press the Renumerate button. Then, wait a few minutes then check Configuration > Objects > Users & Groups to see if the IP addresses are mapping to the usernames.
