Overview
Exinda has an option to collect information of the URL accessed by the users passing traffic through the appliance. When enabled, every URL seen by the appliance is logged to the database. Specify how long (in days) the data will be saved.
This module is disabled by default.
This option is called URL Logging. This can be enabled under System -> Setup -> Monitoring - > ASAM table.Users can specify the amount of time in days they want the logs to be stored in detailed.
Please Note: Enabling URL logging utilizes a good chunk of hard drive space on the Exinda. Hence, it is a good practice to select less number of days for which the logs should be stored.
Additional Information
How to access this informationAll URLs stored in our database when URL Logging is enabled can be accessed using data extraction on the Exinda. Connect the Exinda to an external ODBC source and extract the URL table.
This will give users access to all the stored URL logging information
