Overview
This article addresses the possibility of having multiple Adaptative Responses pointing to the same Destination Object.
Information
The idea behind the Exinda's Adaptive Response is to be able to monitor hosts/users for a total accumulation of traffic and be able to dynamically move them to an entirely separate network object to be shaped differently when their quota has been reached. By doing this, the hosts are dynamically moved from one network object to a destination network object, and that destination network object can have its virtual circuit dedicated to it, with a separate set of policies and different shaping mindset, i.e., throttling users to a significant drop in bandwidth.
As a result, each Adaptive Response object requires a different destination network object. It is not possible to combine two Adaptive Response policy groups into one single destination network object. Each Adaptive Response needs a distinct input and output network object.
