Overview
On virtual Exindas, the customer must add the interfaces that will be used for management and bridging traffic. This article provides relevant information regarding the number of virtual Network Interface Card (NIC) ports required on a virtual Exinda.
Environment
This is applicable only to virtual Exinda.
Information
The minimum recommended number of interfaces or NIC port to use is four (4). The first two interfaces, eth0 and eth1, are for management and clustering if required. The other two interfaces are used for bridging the traffic that is going through the Exinda. You can add additional interface pairs for bridging purposes as you see fit.
